I just want to do a quick shout out to the Canton Parks & Recreation Department for their beautiful Garden Center at the stadium park! I walk my dog there every morning and the park is always so clean and maintenance is always hard at work. During one of my morning strolls I met a lovely lady, Meredith, and she told me a worker for the department always goes above and beyond with their flowers, the Dahlia flowers especially. They're not exactly an easy flower to maintain in Ohio with our brutal winters. Yesterday I got to see the beautiful flowers and I was just in awe! Big thank you and appreciation from a stark county resident here! We SEE you guys, and everyone please make sure to go out and vote YES on Issue 8 come November 4th! Support our local parks department and all of the hard work they do for our community! πŸ–€ -Lindsey Raye Photography

Hanging at the Nature Center with kiddos. New trail paths being carved out of the hillside. Should be nice when becoming summertime. Kudos

Not sure where our tax money is going! Today my son went fishing down at stadium park. There were dead turtles in the pond floating. Its overall filthy. In the pravillons by the monument there is spray paint all over the place. Here is the BIG ONE....PILL BOTTLES EVERYWHERE. Even bigger problem all the needles in the bathrooms. Not safe for kids or families. Where are you guys? Who is supposed to be managing the park system? One day I called because the toliets were flooding like a fire hydrant that's being let out. I called and no one even cared. We will continue to take pictures and post them on social media to bring awareness. Seems no one cares about anything but sippo lake and not our inner city parks that serve as a recreation area for our youth during the summer. My son loves to fish and the garbage has to stop!!!
